Well, here it is, another weekend. It’s on the cool side here in New York and autumn is definitely in the air. My neighbor’s trees across the street have had red leaves in them for a couple of weeks now, and one of the organizations I belong to has announced the date for their autumn potluck. It all has me wondering how it could be that another summer has come and gone.
I’m looking at a very busy couple of months ahead of me with lots of stuff packed in. Here’s what’s happening:
My latest reading/chat with Liz McMullen is up on her site. It’s always a fun time and we have very interesting conversations. 🙂 I read a little snippet from my soon-to-be-available novella, called Add Spice to Taste. (I gave a synopsis of it HERE.) That’s going to be coming out shortly, and if you’d like to get a little taste of it, go to The Liz McMullen Show. if you missed my reading on Lizzie’s Bedtime Stories, you can listen to it HERE (I read a story about a sexy pirate captain, Rianne Cotter).
And if you didn’t get a chance to listen to the show I did over at the Bar Rag, take a listen: Bar Rag.
If you’re going to be at the Western Women Writers of New Mexico event at the Pine Flats Picnic Area in Albuquerque, I’ll be there, too. I won’t be reading (as I am not a Western writer) but I’ll be there for moral support and…well, I just wanted to go to New Mexico. 🙂 FLYER
If I don’t see you there, maybe I’ll see you in Palm Springs at the Left Coast Lesbian Conference. It’s for writers, publishers, and readers of all persuasions. It’s October 9 – 13. Go check out the Facebook page HERE. They’ve extended their early bird prices to September 15.
Right around Halloween, I’ll be posting a link to another Liz McMullen show. This one will be a Halloween special. Halloween is my favorite holiday, which is why I was so excited to get a story accepted in an anthology called When the Clock Strikes Thirteen, also due out around Halloween from Ylva Publishing. And on October 26 and 27, I’ll be doing two days of Q&A at LesFic Reader. So, if you’re not a member of the group, go join. You’re missing out on some good stuff. LesFic Reader
So, that’s it for now. I hope to announce some more cool happenings in the months to come.
